从电视剧《傲慢与偏见》，我看到了英国人保守、优雅、绅士、贵族气质。

从休漠、斯密身上，体会到了英国人杰出的智慧。

从现在欧洲五大联赛中最火爆的英超联赛，感受到英国人的激情、冲撞、野性的气息。

coupling是这几个方面自然的结合。

哦，coupling还让我多了解了一样：英国人的幽默与夸张。

前三季是我最喜爱的喜剧之一。

JEFF是它的灵魂和魅力所在。

他的离开使第四季索然寡味——JEFF是无可替代的。

几年前第一次看这部剧的时候写的，那时并不熟悉Moffat模式，只是当下一种观感。

补充一点，很多笑点建立在剪辑上，是很纯粹的影视思维……十多年前的英国sitcom 号称英版Friends 但主题显然不像Friends那样纯品吧 事实上 差别还颇有些大 看了很意外 因为没想到这么好看 除了最后一季不太令人满意 与the IT Crowd同场竞技我只得将后者地位稍降一级了(喂 话说您的竞技场还有别家运动员吗) 在the IT Crowd中你很难不注意到荒诞\夸张的戏剧化表演的“气场” 而Coupling只以对话模式就通杀了一切相对更熟悉的美式sitcom的路数 我给我想到的这一部分路数编了个拗口的定性描述 ———— 既定场景下趣味之可能性发挥 像在Friends \ TBBT \ Modern Family经常看到的那样 人物互动的趣味性是主要的 话题则是次要的 事件过程中的趣味性是主要的 对它的看法(或者讨论)是次要的 有时候对白里还会无端端出现一些俏皮话 或者话题好像被引申到什么随机的更有趣的事情上去了 或者一干人等轮流聊到一干不甚相关的事 非“主讲人”在旁插科打诨 这种我觉得偏向于“随机的”“情境的”乐趣 与实际生活倒是很相像(不知道是否放之四海 也许有些执着之人就是死不肯三十秒换个话题) 区别只在于日常的人无法生活出“笑话集锦”的强度Coupling给人的感觉 它的对白非常密集\强大 也许果真就是所谓大英帝国“戏剧传统”的管中一斑么 不敢太肯定 直觉有关联 我给它也起了个说法 ———— 既定话题下场景之可能性选择 这部剧集的全部篇幅都是在探讨两性关系 因而可以看成是个大主题 每一集又分别关注在更小的论题上 为何叫“论题” 因为这六个人(通常以性别分三人一组)总是劳模般孜孜不倦地讨论他们的topic 至于在哪里发生讨论这件事 路上\酒吧里\家中还是别的地方 则根据“剧情需要”择优录用 甚至那些前置的后续的“故事”要怎么发生 好像究其根本也取决于“今天聊什么” 看许多喜剧 最后被加深的印象是某个角色的幽默绝伦 TA的话只是TA有趣的明证 看Coupling 不断惊呼话题本身的趣味是如此无穷无尽 尤其当丰富多变的语言用以奋力开拓这批趣味之时 只见角色们一本正经聊着各式各样男男女女的微小话题 (他们不会被随时变化的情形打断 “新的情况”往往帮助他们的内容) 他们看起来还真没有什么能把人乐坏的迹象 而场面已然妙趣横生看点很多 叙事方面也有不少叫不来名字的技巧 大概可以称为结构上的么 常见的譬如同一事件以不同角色的视角重复呈现 或是大玩时间空间连续性的游戏 ……

美剧最近有些断粮，电驴上忽然就搜到了BBC剧coupling，有点像美版friends.下来试看一下，发现：听惯了美音的我，居然无法接受伦敦腔。

是理解不了英式幽默？

还是因为听不懂英腔而妨碍我的理解？

反正同样是情景喜剧。

美剧让我笑得打哆嗦，英剧看下来，面无表情。。

也或许是被美国式幽默熏陶惯了。。

忽然，我想起来前几天电视上采访曼玉资深美女时，她一口伦敦腔让我顿时千里之外的感觉。

So please, in this strange and frightening world, allow us one last place to call our own. This toilet, this blessed pot, this... fortress of solitude. You girls, you may go to the bathroom in groups of two or more. Yet we do not pass comment. We do not make judgment. That is your choice. But we men will always walk the toilet mile... alone
